    Dairy Recipes

        Below are a few dairy recipes that we would recommend trying out. Bon appetit!

Strawberry Milkshake

Serves: 2 people

Ingredients:

  • 450g fresh strawberries, hulled.

  • 2 bananas, peeled and sliced.

  • 220g of ice cubes.

  • 450g of plain, low-fat yoghurt.

 

Method:

Blend the strawberries, bananas and half of the ice cubes and yoghurt in a blender until smooth. Add what is left over and blend until smooth again. Serve and enjoy.

 

 

Banana-Kiwi Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas, peeled and chopped.

  • 1 kiwi, peeled.

  • 5 tablespoons of natural yoghurt.

  • 2 tablespoons of milk.

 

Method:

Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. Serve and enjoy.

Chocolate Pancakes

Serves:2

 

Here is a recipe to enjoy on Pancake Tuesday.

Ingredients:

  • 256g of self-raising flour.

  • 2 tbsp. of caster sugar.

  • 85 g of cocoa.

  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten.

  • 350 ml of milk.

  • 60g of butter.

Method:

  • Combine the flour, sugar and cocoa in a bowl.

  • Slowly, whisk in the eggs and milk.

  • Mix until a smooth, thick batter forms.

  • Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and brush with melted butter.

  • Cook 60g of this mixture in a pan.

  • When bubbles form on the top, flip over to cook on the other side.

  • Repeat until all 12 pancakes are made.
